We are looking for a couple of Temporary Electronics Assemblers to join our Production Team.  The successful candidates, working under the direction of a Production Supervisor, will be responsible for assembling and testing electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, products, and/or systems.  This assignment will likely last through a few months or longer, and may result in an offer to convert to regular full-time employment.  If a conversion is not offered, we will attempt to provide as much notice as possible.


  • Connects component lead wires to printed circuits or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.
  • Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in enclosures and housings.
  • Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, purging and labeling assemblies.
  • Operates test equipment, DVM, Laser Power meters, etc....
  • Performs online go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Reads work orders, follows assembly documents, production drawings, sample assemblies and verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.
  • Crimps, screws, bolts, solders, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • This position requires a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous assembly experience, including final assembly, precision and test, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • IPC solder training or soldering experience.
  • ISO 9001 process experience and quality assurance experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read assembly drawings/documents.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to communicate in English.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in both a warehouse and production floor environment.  The employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.  The employee will be exposed to outside weather on occasion.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The employee may be exposed to laser and HAZMAT hazards.
